WEEK 4: DAY 2 · TUESDAY
Why Our Strategic Workouts WORK! 💪
LOW CARB DAY
“This week, I will not break promises to myself. I believe that every time I break a promise to myself, I begin to distrust my own words a little more and lose a little more faith in my abilities. I am committed to working on self-trust and self-love.”
Happy Tuesday, friends! Who is ready to deplete all of our glycogen stores today and turn into a lean, mean, fat burning machine? 🔥 If you haven't participated in our HIIT workouts yet, I encourage you to try one today. Pairing a HIIT workout with a low carb day helps us burn through our glycogen at a faster rate, which means we can tap into fat burning!
Speaking of, today we are going to talk about why less is actually more when it comes to working out. We've been lied to, friends! We have been told that we need to exercise more and eat less all of our lives. Think of all those quick fix diets you’ve tried in the past and tell me one that didn’t focus on eating less. Go on, I’ll wait...😉 You’ve likely also spent more hours on the treadmill than you care to admit, haven’t you? I hope you're convinced by now that the eat less/exercise more strategy doesn’t work long-term. Thanks to our quick and effective workouts, you no longer have to spend hours at the gym to achieve the level of fitness you’ve always desired.
Our head trainers strategically map out our workouts to ensure that you’re getting everything you need each week. We take the guesswork out for you by providing strategies that work with the body instead of against it. That is why our comprehensive lifestyle is the best! 🚀 We also prioritize two rest and active recovery days each week to give your body a chance to repair, recover and rebuild after working hard all week. Are you already amazed at how effective our weekly workouts are? 30-40 minutes, five days per week will absolutely change your life!

MORE TO LEARN
It’s no secret that mindset is at the foundation of our health journeys and we are going to continue focusing on mindset growth this week. In the meantime, there are some incredible books about positive mindset and how to apply it in a practical way that will actually produce results in our lives. It’s foundational within your health journey, but the great thing is that it’s foundational in every aspect of your life! We’re talking about your career, your relationships, your finances, etc.!
In the book, "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson, he opens up the first chapter with the following quote: "The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be." What a confident affirmation! We get to decide who we want to be! That quote alone holds so much power within its words.
In the beginning of the book, the author compares our struggles to being on a roller coaster. There are three levels to this roller coaster, with the bottom being failure, the middle being survival and the top being success. He goes on to say that most of us spend our time in between failure and survival (the bottom and middle levels). When we get completely fed up and hit rock bottom (with our weight, financial troubles, marriage turmoil, etc.), we always do whatever it takes in order to get up to survival mode (or the middle tier). We fight tooth and nail just to “survive”. This is great, but oftentimes, once we get back to survival mode (the middle tier), we just stop. We get comfortable in survival mode and we don't continue to do the things that got us there; therefore, we fall back down to the failure level and we constantly have to start over! If we would continue to do the things it took to go from failure to survival, we could get from survival to success! It is so important to keep going, friends! ⬆️ Keep doing the same things that took you from failure to survival and watch yourself reach the top!
XOXO!
